Apollon, obtained his BA Econ (Hons) Accounting and Finance from the Victorian University of Manchester. He then went on to train as a Chartered Accountant with Auerbach Hope in London working with HNWI's in the entertainment industry and in London's West End. Moving back to his native Cyprus he joined PwC International Business Services, specialising in setting up and running companies for both private wealth and public interest clients. Then he joined the Board of Amicorp. He spent the next 7 years structuring international business and investment specialising in CIS, EU, and South East Asia. He has held public interest appointments to NYSE and LSE Main Market listed companies, companies subject to financial regulation in Russia, India, Cyprus and the UK and has worked on M&A deals worth well over US$8bln. Furthermore, he was involved in the management team of Andetta Group, a global funds operator, sponsor and promoter with AuM in excess of US$bln. During the past years Apollon has concentrated in serving his clients through public officer appointments and BoD positions. He acts as an executive advisor to a number of regulated financial services companies, has been responsible for operational setup of MiFID investment firms and an AIFM/UCITS management companies, CIMA and BVI FSC regulated asset managers and funds and is in the process of obtaining a banking license for one of his clients. Apollon has particular specialization in Russian and CIS markets, clients and business. His exposure to the said markets began in the early 2000’s and his clientele over the years has included such household names as VEON Ltd (NASDAQ: VEON), Wimm Bill Dann Foods (ex NYSE: WBD) and MD Medical Group (LSE: MDMG) among others, which he served in a variety of roles and positions including as executive director.
